These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Offcut mobile application, ChippyMate website and related services. By downloading, accessing or using the services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
Your Account
Keep your account details accurate and your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Subscriptions
Paid features require a subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google must be cancelled through the relevant platform. Deleting your Offcut account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or the applicable subscription provider's policies.
Acceptable Use
You must use Offcut lawfully and must not misuse, interfere with, hack, scrape or attempt to circumvent the Services or subscription restrictions.
Intellectual Content
The Services, including all software, graphics, text, logos, trademarks, designs, databases and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Offcut and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to Offcut. You give Offcut permission to process and store that content as reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Services.
AI Features
AI-generated information may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI outputs before relying on them.
Professional Use
Offcut does not provide engineering, architectural, surveying, legal, financial, safety or building compliance advice. Users remain responsible for independently verifying all measurements, calculations, plans, estimates, and other outputs before relying upon them.
Service Availability
We work to keep Offcut available and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change or be discontinued.
Third-Party Services
Offcut relies on third-party providers, including payment, cloud, AI and other service providers, which may have their own terms and policies.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in our Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
Changes
We may update the Terms from time to time and will provide notice of material changes where required by law.

Do not share, sell, rent or provide unauthorised access to your account. Team accounts may only be used by authorised users within the purchased seat limit.
Don't Interfere With The Services
Do not hack, disrupt, overload, circumvent security measures or attempt to gain unauthorised access to Offcut or its systems.
No Abusive Automation
Do not use bots, scripts or automated systems in a way that places unreasonable demands on Offcut or bypasses technical or subscription restrictions.
Use AI Responsibly
Do not use Offcut's AI or voice features for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or deceptive purposes.
Verify Important Information
AI-generated content, calculations and other outputs should be independently reviewed before being used for construction, safety, compliance, professional or other important purposes.
Fair Use
Usage must be consistent with the features and subscription plan you have purchased. Reasonable usage limits may apply to protect service availability and fair access.
Enforcement
Where necessary, we may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts that breach these requirements or threaten the security or reliability of the Services.
